The Bellingham Bells beat the Yakima Valley Pippins 9-6 on the road Wednesday night. The Bells had dropped the first two in the three-game series. Bellingham natives Austin Shenton and Ernie Yake had two hits apiece in the win.
The Bells are 3-3 on the season. They start a three-game series against the Corvallis Knights Thursday night at 6:35 at Joe Martin Field.
