BIRCH BAY VILLAGE, Wash. – A man was busy burglarizing a block of Birch Bay Village according to the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office.
They say Brian Bradley of Blaine hit several houses early Saturday morning.
Deputies say two people caught him in their homes.
One man says he armed himself and ordered Bradley out onto the beach.
Another woman says she watched him paddle away in a stolen kayak.
A deputy says he spotted Bradley with several stolen items as he made landfall near Birch Bay State Park.
Bradley is now in the Whatcom County jail.
