SEATTLE, Wash. – A man raised in Bellingham who was busted for drugs is going to prison for more than three decades.
Santos Peter Murillo got caught with meth, heroin and guns after a fender-bender in Auburn.
The 36-year-old was given the mandatory minimum sentence of 35-years in prison.
It’s his second long sentence for drugs, but he’s never been convicted of a violent crime.
The Seattle PI reports Murillo was brought to Bellingham from Honduras as a young child and was homeless by the time he was a teenager.
He’ll probably be deported when he’s released from prison.
