BELLINGHAM, Wash – A Whatcom County construction company’s employees are buying the business.
A-1 Builders owners Rick Dubrow and Cindi Landreth are stepping aside and the employees will run the company as a co-operative.
A-1 says a cooperative is defined as “a jointly owned and democratically controlled enterprise.”
The business says it’s been serving Whatcom County for 62 years.
