Bellingham Bay Swim Team member Emma Carlton will compete at the USA Swimming Nationals/World Championship Trials this week in Indianapolis, Indiana. The seventeen-year-old will race in the 100, free, 50 fly, 100 fly, 100 back and 50 free events beginning Sunday.
Nationals this summer is also the selection meet for the 2017 FINA World Championships, July 23-30 in Budapest, Hungary.
According to USA Swimming, the NBC Sports Group is featuring 12 hours of broadcast coverage from nationals, including four hours of nationally televised coverage on NBC on July 1st and 2nd.
