WOODINVILLE, Wash. (AP) – About 100 uniformed officers lined up outside a stadium in Everett to greet the son of a police officer as he graduated from high school.
Esteban Underwood stopped to shake every officer’s hand and to thank them.
The Daily Herald reports he was two-years-old when his father Steven was shot and killed while working as a police officer.
A fellow officer promised his widow the law enforcement family would look out for Esteban.
He graduated from Woodinville High School last week.
