BELLINGHAM, Wash. – If you’re on a paddle board, you need to have a lifejacket with you – it’s the law.
The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office says Stand Up Paddle Boards, Kayaks, and Canoes must have a lifejacket for each person on board.
Children 12 and under need to have them on.
