TACOMA, Wash. (AP) – The father-in-law of a Utah woman who went missing in 2009 is out of prison after serving time for possession of child porn.
Steven Powell is the father of Josh Powell.
Police believe Josh murdered his wife Susan in Utah before moving to Washington.
He then killed himself and his two young sons in an explosive fire at their Pierce County home in 2012.
The child porn included images Steven Powell took of neighbor girls in various states of undress.
Investigators found it as they searched his house looking for clues in Susan’s disappearance.
