The University of Washington is looking to the future and loading up on quarterbacks. Graham-Kapowsin High School 4-star recruit Dylan Morris has committed to play for the Huskies.

Morris, who will begin his junior season this fall, is ranked 44th overall by scout.com for the class of 2019. He is ranked 3rd overall at the quarterback position and 1st in the state of Washington.

Morris turned to Twitter to announce his decision, tweeting “I’m stayin’ home!! A huge thank you to Coach Petersen, Coach Smith, and the rest of the UW staff!”💜 #GoDawgs

The 6-1, 180-pounder, also drew interest from Notre Dame, Nebraska and four other Pac-12 schools in Oregon, Cal, Oregon State and Washington State.

Washington keeps improving at the quarterback position. Jake Browning, the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year, returns for his junior season this fall after leading the Dawgs to the College Football Playoff semifinals last year.  The Huskies also have 2018 commitments from 4-star recruits  Jacob Sirmon of Bothell and Colson Yankoff of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
