BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Two local colleges are receiving money to help students.
Whatcom Community College is getting about $1.3 million to help local low-income high school students who would be the first in their family to attend college.
Northwest Indian College is receiving nearly $1 million for students in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields.
