STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. (AP) – The state plans to kill some members of a wolf pack that is repeatedly preying on livestock in Stevens County.
The wolf pack is one of 20 in our state.
Wolves were wiped out in Washington early in the last century, but began
moving back into the state from neighboring areas earlier this century, conflicts between wolves and ranchers.
