The Bellingham Bells beat the Cowlitz Black Bears Thursday night 7-5. Bellingham swept the three-game series at Joe Martin Field. The Bells scored six runs in the second inning.
Austin Shenton and Colby Barrick had two RBI’s apiece in the win. Bellingham has a five-game winning streak and a 10-8 record in the second half, a half-game behind North Divsion leader Victoria.
The Bells start a weekend road series against the Kelowna Falcons Friday night. It’s a 6:05 pre-game show and 6:35 first pitch on AM930 KBAI.
