The Seattle Seahawks have reached a deal with defensive end/linebacker Marcus Smith. ESPN’s Adam Shefter reported the deal for the former Philadelphia Eagles first round draft pick Friday.

A Seattle Times story cites a league source confirming that the Seahawks are expected to sign Smith by Saturday.
Smith, the 26th overall pick in the 2014 draft, cleared waivers Thursday after being waived by the Eagles earlier this week. The former Louisville star played in 37 games over 3 seasons, registering 4 sacks and 12 tackles.
Players report to Seahawks training camp Saturday, with practice starting Sunday.
