According to The Seattle Times, Malik McDowell is expected to travel to Seattle from his home in Michigan and could rejoin the team as early as today. McDowell, the Seahawks’ first pick in the 2017 NFL draft, suffered head injuries in an ATV accident two weeks ago. McDowell coming to Seattle will allow the Seahawks’ physicians to get their first look at him and his injuries since the accident, which was revealed by the team when training camp opened Sunday.

There is still no timetable on when McDowell will be able to play. McDowell signed a four-year contract worth $6.9 million in May, a deal that included a $3.198 million signing bonus.
