EVERSON, Wash. – Three people floating on the Nooksack River called for help after running into trouble near the site of a recent helicopter rescue.
Like the people the helicopter pulled from the river last month, the trio ran into a snag.
The Bellingham Herald reports they were thrown into the water near Nolte Road.
They got out of the water and called 911.
Whatcom Fire District One firefighters helped them.
Nobody was hurt.
