BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A Fed-Ex truck ran over a 65-year-old woman near Saint Joseph Hospital Thursday afternoon.
Bellingham police say the truck hit the woman on Squalicum Parkway as she crossed the driveway to Parkway Medical Center.
The truck driver didn’t know he hit someone until other people on the scene told him to stop.
Police say the woman has back, shoulder and hand injuries, but she was able to talk to them.
She was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
It’s not clear yet if the driver will receive a citation of face any charges.
