FERNDALE, Wash – Ferndale has welcomed home its World Series team.

A celebration was held Saturday in honor of the Ferndale Cal Ripkin 12-U baseball team, which won its World Series title Thursday.

Team players were escorted home on to a welcoming crowd along Main Street Friday night, displaying their trophy and escorted by Ferndale Police and first responders.
