BELLINGHAM, Wash – The woman who died in the Whatcom County Jail Thursday has been identified.
Records show Paul Jefferson, a resident of the Lummi Reservation, was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
The Bellingham Herald reports Jefferson was found unconscious in the so-called “drunk tank” cell at the Jail shortly after noon Thursday.
She did not respond to CPR.
