CHIMACUM, Wash. (AP) – A man is dead and a woman has serious injuries after their motorcycle hit a large bird near Chimacum on the Olympic Peninsula.
The Kitsap Sun reported the man died at the scene and the woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
A deputy euthanized the bird.
Its species was not identified.
