PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) – Dozens of students were evacuated from a dormitory at Washington State University after reports that vandals had scratched several swastikas and a vague bomb threat onto the building’s walls.

WSU assistant police chief Steve Hansen told The Spokesman-Review that the “bomb threat” was simply the word “bomb” above a time: 1 a.m.

The Spokesman reported that after an inspection of Simson Hall police found no evidence of explosives.
