BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A Bellingham Roller Betties coach is out because he’s a sex offender.
Daniel Pauley-Wood molested and raped a teenage girl about 14 years ago.
He’s level two sex offender, which means there’s a moderate risk that he’ll reoffend.
According the roller derby club’s Facebook page, he told them about his status before he started volunteering as a coach, but the organization faced pressure to get rid of him, so they asked him to step down.
