The Seattle Storm will hit the road Wednesday in the first round of the WNBA playoffs. The 8th-seeded Storm will play the 5th seeded Mercury in Phoenix.
The first two rounds of the 8-team playoffs are single elimination. The top two seeds, Minnesota and Los Angeles, are already into the semifinals.
Phoenix (18-16) took 2 of the three games versus Seattle (15-19) in the regular season, both in the Emerald City. The Storm did beat the Mercury 98-89 August 12th in Phoenix.
Wednesday’s tip-off is scheduled for 7:00pm at Talking Stick Resort Arena.
