LUMMI ISLAND, Wash. – Lummi Island Ferry riders are now dealing with a yearly annoyance: the Whatcom Chief’s annual dry dock.
A passenger-only ferry and shuttle van service on Lummi Island is provided during the work.
The Whatcom Chief is scheduled to be out of service until September 25th. but that could change depending on the problems workers find with the vessel.
