BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A big solar panel factory is set to open on Bellingham’s waterfront.
Itek Energy plans to move into the facility in the old Georgia Pacific warehouse by the end of the month.
The new plant may add approximately 30 new jobs to the local economy.
Itek’s other factory in the Irongate neighborhood will remain open.
