GLACIER, Wash. – A hiker had to be rescued Wednesday night.

The man fell off a Whatcom County cliff.

He fell at Racehorse Falls.

Fire District 14 Chief Jerry DeBruin says it was a rope rescue in the dark on the edge of a cliff.

DeBruin says the man fell at least 40 feet.

Just last summer, a man was seriously hurt when slipped and fell in the same area.
