BELLINGHAM, Wash – Whatcom County District Court has now denied a sexual assault protection order that had been filed against a Silver Beach Elementary School teacher.
The Bellingham Herald reports court records as saying the request was dismissed Thursday when the mother making the allegations failed to appear in court.
Bellingham School District officials had previously said an internal investigation using a hired outside attorney found no basis for the allegations.
