Seattle Mariners outfielder Guillermo Heredia has undergone successful surgery on his right shoulder. General Manager Jerry Dipoto announced the medical update Monday.
Heredia had the surgery to repair a Bankart Lesion. The surgery was performed by Dr. John Uribe in Miami, Florida.
According to the Mariners, Heredia will begin rehabilitation immediately and is expected to be ready for Spring Training. The 26-year-old hit .249 with 6 home runs and 24 RBI’s in 123 games with the Mariners this season.
