BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The brother of the Bellingham Police Officer accused of assaulting two men turned himself in Monday.
Investigators say Jagmeet Singh Dhaliwal helped his brother Sukhdev, who is a Bellingham Police officer, beat two men last week.
Skagit County Deputy Prosecutor Haley Sebens said the brothers went to the victims’ address, where “an argument ensued regarding the sister of the two co-defendants.”
The Bellingham Herald reported the case is likely headed to Skagit County.
Sukhdev remains on paid administrative leave from the police department.
