High school girls soccer scores from Monday…in Class 1A district action Meridian beat Cedar Park Christian 7-1 and Nooksack Valley fell to South Whidbey 5-1. In regular season play Ferndale shut out Sehome 3-0, Lynden and Bellingham ended in a 1-1 tie, Squalicum defeated Sedro-Woolley 4-1 and Blaine lost to Lakewood 2-1.
In volleyball action Squalicum beat Lynden and Sehome fell to Burlington.
And Lynden Christian volleyball coach Kim Grycel will be inducted into the Washington State Volleyball Hall of Fame at the state tournament this year.
