Bellingham, Wash – The FBI and Department of Homeland Security are working with the Whatcom Sheriff’s office investigating a security breach at the Bellingham airport late Thursday night.
The Bellingham Herald reports around 11:30pm Thursday a bearded man in his 20’s wearing a dark track suit jumped a fence and ran on to the airfield.
The man approached a plane and was challenged by security.
Investigators have included security footage in their inquiry; no damage was reported to any airport property.
