BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A 12 year old boy was startled when a man he didn’t know walked into his family’s house.

Bellingham Police Lt. Danette Beckley says the boy was alone in the house in the 500 block of Lyla Lane a little before 9 a.m. Monday when he heard someone open a sliding door.

A man started to enter but ran away when he saw someone was in the home.

Officers showed the boy a photo line-up but he couldn’t identify a suspect.

He’s described as about 6 feet tall, bald and clean shaven with a “strong” build.

He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, black sweatpants and a black baseball cap.
