An elderly man suffered a broken leg when he was hit by a car Monday morning.
A police spokesperson says the 82 year old man was crossing Old Fairhaven Parkway in a crosswalk at 30th street just after 8 a.m. when he was hit by a slowly turning vehicle.
A 25 year old driver was turning east when he hit the man.
The driver told officers he was blinded by the sun.
The accident remains under investigation.
