WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash.- A Lummi Nation man is being held in a Federal Detention Center in SeaTac under accusations he sexually abused a minor.
The Bellingham Herald reports the FBI arrested Jason Little Sky James Jr. on Thursday and he has a detention hearing Tuesday.
James was originally arrested a month ago on suspicion of child rape charges and communicating with a minor for immoral purposes after detectives said a 13-year-old girl told them she had a sexual relationship with James.
James is a registered Level 1 sex offender from a 2015 conviction when he was about 18-years-old.
