I-5 travelers should prepare for slow traffic next week.
Starting Monday, Nov.20 and Tuesday, Nov.21 there will be a single lane closure heading northbound near the Skagit/Whatcom County line.
Washington State Department of Transportation crews will be removing rocks from a catch area near the I-5 and Nulle Road interchange.
People driving between Skagit County and Bellingham should give themselves extra time. State Route 9 is available as a detour to avoid expected delays.
