FERNDALE, Wash. – A reminder not to drive through flooded roadways.
On Friday, Whatcom County Sheriff’s deputies used the department’s light armored vehicle to rescue a man who tried to drive through deep water on Ferndale Road and became stranded.
He spent several hours in the back of his stuck pick-up truck before he was rescued.
