BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The regularly recurring monthly tsunami siren test will be heard across seven Whatcom County locations at noon Monday.

The All Hazard Alert Broadcast System (AHABS) is tested on the first Monday of each month.

Tomorrow’s test will be include the newly operational siren at the Port of Bellingham, installed t Squalicum Harbor in early November.

In addition to persons on the Bellingham waterfront, residents of Blaine, Birch Bay, Point Roberts, Lummi Nation, and Sandy Point will also hear the test, which consists of chimes followed by a voice message.
