BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The Department of Health disciplined a local counselor.
Thomas Brown, who had worked at a local mental health center, is charged with unprofessional conduct for having a romantic and sexual relationship with a client.
The Department of Health said he worked at Lake Whatcom Residential Treatment Center.
Brown’s license is expired and discipline from the state is pending.
