Former longtime KOMO-TV sports anchor Bruce King has died.
King retired in 1999 after 31-years with the station so he could spend time with his family.
KOMO reports during his time on the air he won two local Emmy Awards and was named state sportscaster of the year four times.
In a tribute to King, his former co-workers said King had “stylistic flourishes on the set,” and he was a “fun loving ray of sunshine, always.”
King was 83-years-old.
