SKYKOMISH, Wash. – A crash in King County left eight people injured, including five children.

The State Patrol reported a 16-year-old boy was driving eastbound on Highway 2 near the town of Skykomish Monday afternoon when he crossed the center line and collided with an SUV carrying a Woodway couple and five children.

Everyone involved was injured and transported to hospitals.

The children involved ranged in age from one to nine years old.

Troopers said drugs or alcohol were not involved.
