BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Local families who need specialized orthopedic medical care for kids now have a new option.
Shriner’s Hospitals For Children has scheduled two outreach clinics in Whatcom County in 2018.
Mauri Ingram, CEO of the Whatcom County Foundation, says there’s an increase in children with special healthcare needs in Whatcom County.
The Shriner’s clinic offers a specialized opportunity for families who have a limited ability to pay, Ingram said
The Clinics are scheduled for March 17th and August 25th at PeaceHealth Saint Joseph Medical Center and are also supported by the Chuckanut Health Foundation and Washington Federal Bank.
