BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and in honor of that, the U.S. Forest Service is waiving fees at day-use recreation sites in Washington and Oregon.
The agency says this waiver includes many picnic areas, boat launches, trailheads and visitor centers, but fees for permits and camping still apply.
You can check out trails and other areas at the Forest Services’ website.
