MONROE, Wash. – Two Sedro-Woolley residents were injured in a three car crash on SR2 near Monroe Friday afternoon.
State Troopers say Samantha Andrew, age 27, and Shawn Hampton, age 26, were taken to Providence Medical Center after they hit a car which had been travelling in the opposite direction and slowed for traffic near mile marker 17, that was rear-ended by a car driven by 31 year old Brian West of Gold Bar, and spun into their lane.
Everyone involved was wearing seat belts; Hampton’s minivan was totaled.
Charges are pending as the Washington State Patrol investigates the incident.
