WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – As more snow dumps over the mountains, the Mount Baker Ski Area is expecting more than two feet of new snow in the next couple of days.
The ski area does have two advisories in place right now: a deep snow and tree well advisory and a high avalanche advisory.
Skiers and snowboarders are urged to stay in designated and safe ski areas and to keep partners in sight.
