Prep basketball finals Thursday night…on the boys side Lynden Christian beat Blaine 71-43, Ferndale defeated Meridian 60-52, Mount Baker lost to Anacortes 61-40 and Burlington beat Nooksack Valley 59-57.

In girls play Lynden Christian defeated Blaine 69-18, Ferndale got by Meridian 61-57, Mount Baker defeated Anacortes 55-51 and Nooksack Valley fell to Burlington 59-47.

High school basketball results from Thursday night…on the boys side Bellingham beat city rival Sehome 55-48 and Blaine defeated Meridian 74-42.

In girls play Sehome beat Bellingham 43-25, Mt. Baker got past Ferndale 58-56 and Nooksack Valley defeated Squalicum 61-49.
