STANWOOD, Wash. – A four car accident on Camano Island at Terry’s Corner west of Stanwood left five people injured Saturday afternoon.
State troopers charged Christine Lenay with failure to yield after they say she pulled her Kia out of her driveway onto SR 532.
Charles Bunch was driving his Kia eastbound and swerved to avoid Lenay, putting him in the path of Nissans driven by Hein Che and Brian Blomster.
Bunch and Blomster were taken to Providence Hospital, along with their passengers.
Lenay was taken to Cascade Valley Hospital.
The State Patrol is still considering other charges in the pileup.
