WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – Expect a windy weekend with power outages possible and even a chance for more snow.
The National Weather Service says Saturday and Sunday will have periods of strong winds with gusts up into 40’s.
Mild southerly winds on Saturday will be followed by strong northerly winds out of the Fraser River Valley on Sunday at which point the snow level is expected to fall to sea level.
Be prepared for some of the coldest weather so far this winter with temperatures well below freezing.
