BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A sting operation culminated Friday in the arrest of seven Whatcom County residents on charges of patronizing a prostitute.
The City of Bellingham says this is the latest is law enforcement’s effort to end human trafficking.
The joint operation included Bellingham Police, the North-Central Sound Child Exploitation Task Force, FBI detectives and help from other agencies as well.
Police say victims in the case were treated for medical and safety issues and offered services to help them.
