HAMILTON, Wash. — Seven people were hurt, including several children, in what troopers believe was a DUI crash on Highway 20 near Hamilton Tuesday.

The State Patrol says Justin Rodgers of Sedro-Woolley was driving on Pinelli Road toward Highway 20 and ran through the stop sign, hitting an SUV driving east on Highway 20.

A Concrete man was driving the SUV with five young passengers.

Rodgers and his juvenile passenger were transported to Harborview Medical Center.

The SUV driver and four of the five children in his vehicle were taken to Skagit Valley Hospital.

Rodgers faces charges of DUI and vehicular assault.
