BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Washington – and we here in Whatcom County – are not good with our money… or at least our credit cards.
A large study of 2,573 cities nationwide by WalletHub found when it comes to credit card debt, Washington is ranked 47th, so just a bit shy of the worst.
On the city level, in our state, Redmond has the best standing coming in at 15th.
Seattle doesn’t show up until 249, and Whatcom County first shows up at 253 with Blaine.
Bellingham finally ranks in at 825.
