BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Bellingham police have identified the man who died in their custody early Thursday.
Robert Gagnon, age 49 reportedly had ties to Minnesota, Colorado, and Seattle.
Police say they have located his next of kin and advised them of the situation.
Video footage released from the Drop- In Center and from Bellingham Police Department body cams detailed the incident.

The first video is the interior of the Drop-In Center where initial contact with Gagnon is made.
The second video is the exterior of the Drop-In Center where Gagnon begins to doubt the legitimacy of the Officers and begins to struggle to get away from them.
The third video is the Officer’s body-worn camera which includes an audio recording.
